It sounds great, but is totally mislabeled. TLDR: It‘s “Nun Kommt, der Heiden Heiland” in the version of Melchior Franck or Lucas Osiander. “Veni Redemptor Gentium” is a Gregorian chant, where the voices sing in unison. It doesn’t have these harmonies. They came later. Martin Luther translated the song to german, as “Nun Kommt, der Heiden Heiland“ and composers provided harmonisations. They were late Renaissance and Baroque and quite complex, so Lukas Osiander made a version for common church goers, and it became a standard Christmas season song in Germany. Many others added to this, Melchior Franck, Johann Crüger, and even the great Bach (however, it‘s too busy to me and loses the grandeur and beauty of Osiander‘s harmony).
